To help you learn to read stave notation I have not written the letter names of the notes underneath the stave notes on sheet music - you can use the diagram below to check notes you are unsure of:

Key to reading whistle notes
NB - these diagrams show how to play the notes on the D-whistle.

Your F is always F#  (where # = sharp).

You can play two different Cs C# and Cnatural.

If you have one sharp at the start of the music - a;ways play your Cs as C natural, if you have two sharps play the Cs as a C sharp.
