Limerick Trad Workshop

With traditional Irish music at its core, Limerick Trad Workshop aims to to foster a community of people with an interest in traditional music. Going beyond that we hope to provide inspiration and exposure to a variety of learning approaches and musical styles.

The social side of playing a musical instrument also, cannot be overlooked.

We are open to musicians of any age from beginners to advanced level and open to working with organisations with similar aims.

Individual Lessons:

Fiddle, Violin, Guitar, Vocal,  Concert Flute, Whistle, Guitar (all styles), Banjo, Mandolin, Concertina, Button Accordion,

Absolute Beginner Intensive Fiddle or Flute Course for Adults

Group Classes:

Whistle for Young Kids - Beginners and Intermediate €6 - 30mins

Fiddle for Kids €5 - 1 hour

If you live far from us but have a good internet connection, this could be the ideal way to learn traditional irish fiddle in your own home!

FIRST SUNDAY SESSION

1st and 3rd Sunday of the month at 4pm in The Hurlers's Bar, Dublin Road, Castletroy, Limerick.

All welcome, we have a very relaxed session which is as more a social than a professional performance event -  just for the fun of it - strangely this often results in more enjoyable listening. A good place to find your feet if you're new to playing with others.
